About Lesson
Commercial & Industrial

Commercial and industrial lubricants are generally used in applications that require extreme pressure and heat resistance. From construction to  manufacturing any machine that experiences friction needs to be lubricated. Commercial and industrial applications are more demanding than standard lubricant applications and require specifically formulated base oils and additive packages to give them the qualities they need to be effective. Many construction applications require the lubricants to resist contamination from dirt and other potentially harmful debris that could cause corrosion or pitting.
